Community Guidelines

Talk to people the way you'd want to be talked to. Disagreements happen; insults, pile-ons, and mean-spirited comments do not belong here.

Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, and discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality, or similar characteristics are not allowed. If someone asks you to stop, stop.

Be who you say you are. Do not impersonate others, invent fake profiles, run financial scams, or bait people into shady deals. Outside is for genuine plans with real people.

Do not create or join activities that involve illegal behavior, weapons, controlled substances, or anything that puts people in serious danger. If it would get someone hurt or arrested, it does not belong on Outside.

Keep the platform and your activities appropriate for a broad audience. Explicit sexual content, solicitation, and adult-only sexual meetup posts are not allowed.

Outside helps you find people — it does not supervise your meetups. Choose public places when you can, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. Leave if something feels off. Your safety comes first.

Write activity titles and descriptions that accurately reflect what you're doing. Do not bait-and-switch, spam the feed with duplicates, or use Outside as a bulletin board for unrelated ads.

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, use Report Activity or Report User. Blocking is also available when you simply do not want further contact. Reporting helps us keep Outside healthy for everyone.

Depending on the situation, we may remove content, limit features, suspend an account, or permanently remove someone from Outside. Repeated or severe violations are more likely to result in lasting removal.
